Nipah has been working as a photographer since 2013. He studied at the Presbyterian University of Ghana, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2017. Since then, he’s been working as a full-time photographer pursuing social documentary interests in addition to his practice as a photojournalist working with local and international media organisations.
He seeks to produce images that demand consideration for the lives of the individuals they depict.
Nipah has worked with notable organisations like Agence France - Presse AFP, The Associated Press AP, Thomson Reuters Foundation (Context), Global Citizen, Fairtrade, Bloomberg, NASA, USAID, Vivo Energy, Tullow, Gurls Talk, UNICEF, among others.
Nipah’s work was included in the top 20 finalists of the 2017 Portrait Ghana competition and exhibited at the Netherlands Embassy in Ghana by the Nuku Studio.
Nipah's work is included in the book "Encourage" by Visa Pour L’image and Canon Student Development Program.
